Updates & plans

- Regular updates (recommended) — Sign in as an admin, open Settings → Update. Sandman checks the configured dnf repository periodically and shows the changelog when a newer version is available. Click Update now during a maintenance window; Sandman will be unavailable briefly while packages install and services restart.
- Manual updates — SSH to the appliance and run
sudo dnf upgrade sandman sandman-caddy sandman-appliance, then verify HTTPS login and VM discovery. See your deployment runbook for stoppingsandglass.timerduring upgrade if needed. - Changing plan tier (e.g. Startup → Scaleup) — Deploy a new Sandman VM on the target plan and reattach your existing data disk at LUN 0. Settings, schedules, and history carry over. Contact support@yourcloudtools.com for assistance.
