Sandman automates VM shutdown at the end of each owner’s shift — with a Teams check-in so nobody is caught off guard.

Schedule

An admin sets shift start and end times for each VM in the dashboard.

Notify

When a shift ends, the VM owner gets a Microsoft Teams message asking whether the machine can stop.

Postpone

Need more time? One click in Teams keeps the VM running for 1–3 more hours.

Save

The VM deallocates and estimated savings appear on the dashboard.

Each VM is managed independently — only machines with a schedule are stopped automatically.
