Introduction

Sandman is a self-hosted Azure VM scheduling appliance. It deallocates virtual machines when shifts end, notifies owners through Microsoft Teams, and lets users postpone shutdown with one click. Sandman runs on a single Azure Linux 3 (ARM64) VM inside your own subscription — your data never leaves your environment.

Marketplace plans

PlanScheduled VM limitTypical use
StartupUp to 10Small teams, pilot deployments
ScaleupUp to 50Department-wide scheduling
CorporateUnlimitedEnterprise, custom SLA options

Limits apply to VMs with schedule automation enabled (the Sandman host VM is excluded). Your licensed tier is bound to the Azure Marketplace plan you selected when deploying this VM (Startup, Scaleup, or Corporate) and is enforced on the appliance automatically.
